Getting Here
The easiest way to get here is to fly into Spokane International Airport (GEG) in Washington—it’s about a 2-hour drive to Schweitzer. The drive is gorgeous, with mountain views, pine trees, and a stretch along Lake Pend Oreille (we had to Google how to say it too: Pond-er-ay).

The Drive
Once you land, grab a rental car and hop on I-90 East toward Coeur d’Alene, then head north on US-95 to Sandpoint. From there, follow the signs up the mountain to Schweitzer—it’s about 20 minutes to the top.
Parking & Getting Around
If you’re staying at the resort, there’s free parking right on site. If you’re staying down in Sandpoint, there’s usually a shuttle that runs up the mountain (check Schweitzer’s site for times).
Bonus Tip
Make time to explore downtown Sandpoint—it’s a cute little mountain town with great food, coffee, and breweries.
